Here at the Ultimate Adventure Centre, making our site accessible for people from all walks of life is integral to our performance as both instructors and general human beings. Below we have outlined some of the ways in which we make both our site & our website accessible for all.

Website Features

We’ve tailored our website in such a way that our levels of accessibility are very high. Users who do not like using a mouse can ‘tab’ through any of our pages, including our booking forms, making our system an easy & hassle-free way for all to reserve places.

We’ve also maintained an easy to read & easy to enlarge font for your comfort. Our colour scheme is handpicked to ensure enough contrast to make our words really stand out on a page. We’ve kept our vocabulary simple enough, yet filled it will exciting phrases, so every range of age & ability can engage with what we have to offer.

Site Features

We are proud to say that every building on our site has disabled access & many are designed specifically with accessibility in mind. Although you may imagine an adventure centre is not the number one location for people living with disabilities, our previous clients have thoroughly enjoyed their stay with us. Our activities can be tailored perfectly (with enough notice) to suit both your ability and desires, and our instructors will be by your side to make sure you keep a smile on your face the whole time!

For those in search of accessible things to do in North Devon, The Ultimate Adventure Centre is the ideal wheelchair friendly day out. We offer a range of accessible activities in North Devon in our adventure park in Bideford and through many of our off-site wheelchair friendly days out in the local area.

We also offer a range of wheelchair friendly accommodation in North Devon, including our brand new Adventure Barns which have some rooms built with en suite, disabled bathrooms, including features such as hand rails and emergency cords. If you are looking for accessible accommodation in a beautiful setting, this is the perfect option for you.

We believe that being outdoors and being active are both ways to stay healthy & we see the benefits that activities such as climbing have for people with disabilities. Hand eye coordination, strength, balance & movement are just some of the skills that we aim to develop through engaging you in activities here. The added bonus of an adrenaline rush is something many people never forget after visiting us.

Brilliant Weekend Away!
