The Ultimate Adventure Centre provides an unrivalled range of activities. You will get session based skills training in most of our activities including Surfing, Coasteering, Campcraft, Archery, Climbing and Abseiling. Additional sessions will also cover Risk Management, Safeguarding, Weather and Tidal Conditions.
We’ve tried to make our training course fully inclusive, so you know what it will cost you and what you will get for it. For the non-residential option your investment of £4,250 includes all the skills training and National Governing Body (NGB) course fees, if you want to go for the residential option including accommodation and meals just add £1300. NGB registration fees are not included.
Prior to the start of the course each participant will have an interview to understand existing experience and skill level, we will then create a personal action plan for you. We start by explaining the whole course outline and highlighting the milestones throughout the course. Each element is delivered by highly qualified instructors who each have many years experience, they will gauge the levels of all the participants and pitch the training accordingly. We try and focus on each activity individually to maximise and consolidate the learning. There will also be the opportunity for you to further consolidate your learning outside of the structured sessions. The course runs through the winter which means we may have to change the course if there is adverse weather and tidal conditions.
The course is based at the Ultimate Adventure Centre in Bideford, but we ultilise much of North Devon and surrounding areas. We are located very close to the South West Coastal Path and a five minute drive from the beach at Westward Ho! and the river Torridge. Our location gives us easy access to much of North Devon and North Cornwall including the Coastal Path, Hartland, Exmoor and Dartmoor.
